Guided tour from the Conference Venue to Carlsberg for Conference Dinner on 13 May
Join us on a guided walking tour, where we will tell you all the fun and riveting stories about Copenhagen and the Danes!
On our way to the Carlsberg Museum, we will explore the neighbourhood called Vesterbro. This particular part of the city has been through a huge transformation, from a red light district to a hip urban area for young families. We will pass the Meat Packing District and talk about the development that has turned it into the hangout venue it is today.
Why are the Danes so happy? We will explain terms like “hygge” and liveability, and let you know why volunteers are doing social work in Vesterbro. On the tour you will also get an insight into green Copenhagen, sustainability and bicycle culture. Small tastings of beer and local city bee honey are included.
Walking distance: 2,8 km
Price per person: 180 DKK
