The scientific programme at ICAHS provide three different ways for participants to present their work:
- Oral presentations: Traditional oral presentations with power points slides to the conference participants. The majority of the oral presentations will address the full conference audience. If the topics allow a natural interest divide, the conference may contain one or two parallel sessions during the conference.
- Posters: The space for posters is limited by the venue and it is necessary to submit a short abstract for review to be assigned a poster space.
- Case presentations: ICAHS 4 has had several requests for the opportunity to share surveillance cases, initiatives experiences, success and failures – that are of relevance to others. Thus, we are making a call for surveillance case abstracts with the objective of inspiring others and sharing ‘lessons learned’ from surveillance initiatives. The presentations will be either short orals or poster presentations focusing on the impact achieved and on what others can learn from the case. The scientific committee will assign the presentation form after reviewing the abstract and finalising the scientific programme.
